David Martin has worked for three decades as a print and television journalist before becoming an independent writer and producer. For the last seven years, Martin produced award-winning documentaries for CNN Chief Medical Correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta, covering topics like happiness, toxic chemicals, and president health.  Previously, he worked for newspapers and The Associated Press covering crime, sports, business, health, government, and politics in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C.. He has also ghost-written two New York Times bestsellers, was a producer on a feature film, and spent four years as a stay-at-home dad. Martin received his bachelor’s degree from Haverford College and Master’s in Journalism from Columbia University. He is currently working on a non-fiction book and a documentary.
